About ME

Hi, I'm Osama El Akroud, Creative Director of Lastarc X, a CGI studio based in Italy directing product films for hardware and design brands. I trained as a filmmaker at Civica Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti in Milan, and I treat every project as a film rather than a render.

I came up through a creative agency, working inside structured pipelines and broadcast standards on projects for international brands including HP, Vicks, Paramount and PENNY. That grounding shapes how I work now: I direct the full process, from first concept to final edit, keeping the technical build and the storytelling in the same hands. Specialists come in for what each film needs, so every project has the hands its own demands call for, chosen for the work rather than for whoever happens to be free.

Much of the work involves what a camera cannot reach. Inside a sealed housing, below the waterline, at a scale too small or too fast to shoot. The goal is never to show an object. It's to reveal why it matters.
